Day After

Christmas....Wow was it a grand one!
The Christmas morning was awesome, they woke at 4am...in amazement and wonderment., oh the magical joy on their little faces.
The big hit were the new bicycles, and all the other little toys and stocking stuffers... Connect Four and Wooden Tonka Tow Trucks...Disney bath sets and Cars too..

I had to work, but only for a few hours. When I arrived back home we have a beautiful Christmas ham dinner. It was a beautiful Christmas.
We are all so tired now...so much goes into one day., as it should.

Now in less one week it will be a New Year! I can't believe it!

Off to School

Well, she left for the first grade 2 days ago... I can't believe summer is unofficially over and we are back on a routine...and in two weeks are last born son will be off to pre-school! I enjoy this time of year as the weather is refreshing cool crisp air at night and warm bright sunny days.
The season of new growth only inwards.,shedding layers changing colors of the leaves preparing harvest time, and long winter that awaits. But for now., I cherish these days the enthusiasm, the tied in the knot stomach and anticipation of a new experience in school. The deep appreciation of a new box of crayons, new pencils......oh what precious days they are indeed. Good Luck Lil' ones.

almost over

Almost over is this summer 2007/and back to school for two!
Wow- both in school., have to say our family thrives on routine.
Still waiting for the fall vacation to the mountains., hope the fall weather is cool and crisp, yet sunny.
Counting the days., also looking forward to all the end of summer season festivals and shows.

A red rose, and lunch, a great husband...,
two beautiful children causing a huge commotion raucous! What more could a woman ask for? I am so truly blessed to have my family, more then I ever could have dreamed or wished for. It was a glorious day, I look at my two babies.., and still to this day am speechless in awe and wonderment. A true blessings to be a mom.

Spring has Sprung!

Yes, She is finally here! How nice to feel the sun again, the sweet spring breeze..., the playfulness of the kids....chalk & bubbles! Everything is turning over from that dull brown winter death to a bright shade of Kelly green. Thank goodness winter is over I had had just about enough, just as the children. hooray for spring..........and the rites thereof....

The kids are so ready to be outdoors again-- cabin fever is driving us all mad!

Valentine's Day

2007 winter storm nor'easter...its a blizzard for the love of pete!
Snow Ice and a lovely mix by the time I had to drag my ass into work tonight. Hate winter...wrong state thats for certain.

Anyway, this holiday we call Valentines Day is today a mist of the 07-winter fury "blizzard".

A new tradtion I began is that St.Valentines comes the eve of to our house and brings delights to my children...(aka mama is st.valentine)...so by 5am the surprise and happiness abounds as I slowly make the first pot of coffee of the day..., by 7am the sugar kick is in full swing..Next year more crafty items less sugary goodness for the sweet kiddos!!! Oh vey===

The joys of the day are wonderous and the memories of the first time my dh brought me red roses to my work on our very 1st love day together..or when I had my ultra sound four years ago only to discover"It's a boy!".

May we all have such strong and beautiful love in our hearts, whatever may be the weather.

Let's count the day till springtime shall we?

Hello...Tooth Fairy

K Girl lost her first tooth today! Oh my goodness, How the hell did she get to this point? Six is so much fun! I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when dh carefull twisted and yanked it right out of her teeny little mouth, on the second try to boot.
So awakens the tooth fairy years of the first born girl., my special sweet lilttle girl.
The best thing about being the older child, you get to do everything first. When she showed lil' brother her tooth he became sqeamish and frightened.
So Here almightly tooth fairy, what is your on going rate these days?

All the Holidays are Over

Yes, Happy New Year--oh 2007- Please be good to us, make it a great one!

Halloween, Turkey and yes, A wonderful Christmas holiday, are all behind us now.,
New Year's Eve and Day were uneventful, besides icy rain and cold.... and a drive from hell that morning to work.
All is well now day 2 just cold damit biter cold what the fuck cold?!!! Living up hereyah in the mother friggin North Pole Artic Coast...
Florida why didn't you get first call?
